(8x6 in - Oil on art board covered in canvas)
Have moved back to doing still-life's of fruit - practising my technique. Feel pretty happy with this one. Difference with this I painted on primed 8x8 inch MDF board. It was a smoother surface to paint on and ideally requires painting with thicker paint - bit I prefer the square frame to build a composition. Always tricky photographing oils to not get reflections in the image, also with these dark early evenings I tend to end up photographing indoors with tungsten lights - not ideal as it can discolour the image in camera.
