On our way back from Cornwall we stopped off at my partners friends’ house in Herefordshire - the Carter’s had a wonderful large meadow of tall grasses with magnificent views across the valley.
I felt quite taken with the view and grass textures especially after my Lilly pond painting. I pursued a similar approach using the palette knife to create textures with the paint.
There is something so wonderful about being in nature and entirely absorbed in capturing the essence of a place and moment in time.
